The historic Washoe Theatre is in Anaconda. The theatre features an elaborate interior with art deco design and was opened in 1936. Amazing to see this!
The old Anaconda Company smelter stack, built in 1919, and standing over 585 feet, is another special attraction. The copper smelter closed a few years back, but smelter's stack remains and is a reminder of the heyday of copper processing in this area of Montana.
Nearby Georgetown Lake is popular with locals.
